Chance Tibetan Terriers |

It is believed that the Tibetan Terrier originated in Tibet about 2000 years ago. In the Lost Valley of Tibet they were bred in monasteries by the lamas. The Tibetan Terriers were prized companions and bringers of luck to those who were fortunate to live with them. They are know as the Holy Dogs of Tibet because of their ties to the lamas. No person in Tibet ever sold one of the Holy Dogs or miss-bred one in fear of losing their luck or even bring misfortune to their entire village. |
